Hola!

Student Homework
Here is the information of the homework assignments we're asking each student to accomplish before the trip.
Book Study — The Peacemaker
The whole team will be reading The Peacemaker by Kevin Sande. Copies of the book are included in the students' payments. A syllabus of the chapters read can be found in the students' folders, given at the first meeting. But here is the general info:

DAWG — Day Alone With God
Each student is asked to take one 8-hour window or two 4-hour windows to spend alone with God. This time can be filled with scripture reading or writing, prayer, meditation on God's Word, journaling, and worship.
We are offering an opportunity for all the students to come to Crossover and complete their DAWG with a 4-hour window here at Crossover. That will be on June 20th from 10am-2pm.

One-on-ones
Students are asked to meet one-on-one with every team member and leader of their same gender before going on the trip. This is important for students to get to know each other before we head on the mission field.
Support Raised
Of course, the students are responsible for raising the financial support to go on the trip (see above). They are accountable for writing and sending prayer and financial support letters, being proactive about raising the money themselves, and engaging in discussions for ways we can raise money as a team.
Important Documents
Here are documents or links that will be helpful for you.

Meet Frank & Rebecca Arellanes

Long-term missionaries in Mexico, Frank and Rebecca have a heart for seeing God's will done throughout Mexico. They have planted several churches in and around Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara, and engage in discipleship and shepherding ministries with those churches.
Frank and Rebecca have built relationships through both individual mentorship and discipleship groups. Their goal isn't to do ministry in Mexico, but rather to train locals to do ministry and pastor churches.
For more information on their ministry, you can request to join their private Facebook group.
