"Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6:2
Encouragement along the way.
Motherhood today looks very different than it did twenty-five years ago. As our culture has shifted, the pace of life for young moms has accelerated—often leaving them overwhelmed and longing for encouragement, support, and space to breathe. At the same time, our church is blessed with senior women whose wisdom, life experience, and compassion are invaluable gifts meant to be shared.
While some mentoring relationships have formed naturally, there is a meaningful opportunity to more intentionally connect these two generations. Bridging the Gap exists to do just that—creating life-giving relationships where young moms receive practical help and encouragement, and senior women are empowered to invest in, guide, and bless the next generation through purposeful connection.

Intergenerational Support
We want to invite women of all ages to support one another. Older women, would you bless a young mom by preparing a few meals using her own recipes and ingredients? Younger moms, would you take advantage of the wisdom and support of another woman in the church body who has the time and resources to support you?
We'd love to connect older and younger women for this unique opportunity. Use the form below to indicate you're interested in participating.

How It Works
Here is some more info on how the practical side of the ministry works.
In addition to the practical aspect of this ministry, we want you to connect on a spiritual mentorship level as well! Our desire is you don't only exchange meals, but also encouragement, prayer, community, and a reminder that neither of you are alone in this season.
- Sign up for the program and a ministry leader will match you with another woman at Crossover.
- The younger mother will provide the older woman with recipes, ingredients, and bakeware on a specified Sunday morning (we'll put you both in contact!)
- The older woman will prepare up to three meals during the week using what's provided by the younger mom, and delivers the meals to the family as decided on between you two.
